Something Else? Reading & Performance Series
An evening of literature, performance, matrimony, and erotics

Something Else? is a reading event at the intersection of literature and performance where each performer is asked to do a reading AND “something else.” “Something else” can be anything: a costume, a prop, an audio/visual accompaniment, movement, an additional performer.

Join us for the first edition of Something Else? with performances and readings on the theme of MARRIAGE. Come dressed in wedding finery for an evening of matrimony and erotics, including:

- A lineup of members of the Rax Will Writing Group
- Vintage erotica from Nooners Books & Magazines
- Wedding cake (or maybe that's a person under there?)
- And, naturally, a reception to follow

This event features performances by Sarah Dealy, Kelly Delany, Mads Gobbo, Emma Specter, and Daniel Spielberger.

Hosted by Lance Morgan.

Sarah Dealy is a writer, editor and Peabody-award winning radio producer.

Kelly Delany is a writer and mixed media pastry chef. Her work explores the carnality and sexuality of eating.

Mads Gobbo is a writer and illustrator. Their collaborative short story collection Double Black Diamond, written with Miles Klee, was published this year by Double Negative.

Emma Specter is a journalist and author. She is currently a Culture Writer at Vogue, and her first book, MORE PLEASE, is out now from HarperCollins.

Daniel Spielberger runs the Google Doc interview series DanielDocs.com. He's working on a spy novel.
