JORRELL WATKINS is an alum of Hampshire College and the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. He received fellowships from the Association of University Centers on Disabilities, Smithsonian Institution, Fulbright Japan, and the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown. His debut full-length collection, Play|House was published by Northwestern University Press in 2024. Currently, he lives in LA and is pursuing a PhD in Creative Writing & Literature at USC.
SUSAN MCCABE is a professor at USC, teaching poetics, modernism, ecology, and creative writing. She is the author of two books of poetry, Swirl, a Lambda Literary finalist, and Descartes’ Nightmare; two critical books, Elizabeth Bishop: Her Poetics of Loss and Cinematic Modernism; and a dual bi-biography, H.D. & Bryher: An Untold Love Story of Modernism.
WILLIAM ARCHILA is the winner of the 2023 Philip Levine Prize for Poetry for his collection S is For. He is the author of The Art of Exile and The Gravedigger’s Archeology. He was awarded the 2023 Jack Hazard fellowship. His work has appeared in AGNl, The Georgia Review, Kenyon Review, Prairie Schooner, Poetry, Ploughshares, Pleiades, TriQuarterly and the anthology Latino Poetry: The Library of American Anthology. He has work forthcoming in New Ohio Review. He is an associate editor at Tía Chucha Press.
WENDY C. ORTIZ is the author of Excavation: A Memoir, Hollywood Notebook: Essays, and Bruja: A Dreamoir, all published by Northwestern University Press. She writes the weekly newsletter Mommy’s El Camino.
